Lucifer's Mansion, Sunday Night

Not sleeping with Octavia for two days had seemed like a tolerable proposition after the initial suggestion of five entire days (oh lord). In practice, though, it was its own form of Hell.

So there had definitely been a bit of fumbling with the keys (and the take-out). And a bit of... rushing through the food part.

"We certainly ordered too much rice," he said, only halfway through his pad thai (sigh). "Who knew such a thing was possible."

"Thank you," Lucifer murmured, His eyes slid shut, finally, and he leaned ever so slightly into that touch.

Octavia's fingers traveled down his jaw, to his chin.

"But of course you'll still have to earn whatever rewards you might get tonight," she murmured, her voice low. "Keep your eyes closed."

Oh, he loved that tone of voice.

(Nevermind the gentle touch of her fingertips on his skin.)

"Of course," Lucifer breathed.

The touch lingered. For a moment, the length of time in which Octavia could watch his face and think about how much they didn't need a blindfold.

It was so much better when he just did it because he was told.

And then her hand fell away, and she stepped back. Turned.

She had things to get.

He had a hunch she did.

But Lucifer remained still on the floor. There were games where he pushed back, and games where he didn't; this felt like the latter.

(Even if he badly wanted to get out of his clothes.)

That time would come. But not yet.

There were the sounds of drawers opening, of fabric rustling quietly, of her feet against the floor.

She took her time.

And left his imagination to run wild. It had been two days, and, well.

Lucifer needed to make sure he properly remembered each curve of her body, the places her tattoos were etched into the skin. To picture the way she was moving about the room with all her certain efficiency...

The noises got quieter after a moment. Just soft sounds of movement - and then the faint clink of small metal clasps.

And then, finally, her footsteps returning towards him.

"Hold out your hand."

Lucifer extended an arm without comment, holding his hand out towards her.

What had she found?

Octavia's hand met his, and guided it to her thigh - and onto leather, and mesh. Probably didn't take much guessing to figure out she was wearing the bodysuit, with the harness for her thighs on top.

She'd already fastened the part holding it together at her waist, but the straps around her legs were still mostly open.

And that was where she'd brought his hand.

"Get to work."

"May I open my eyes?" Lucifer asked, as his fingers fumbled and found the first metal clasp and clicked it firmly into place.

"Not yet."

She was willing to bend on that if it started looking like it was too hard. Just not immediately.

"All right."

Lucifer did have some experience with this, and. Well. If he touched a bit much of her skin on the way up to the next clasp... she wouldn't be upset, would she?

He closed and tightened it.

Well, he was touching Octavia's leg, not so much her skin, which was all covered up with the thinnest fabric she could ever remember wearing, apart from a strip right at the top of her inner thigh.

... But no, she wouldn't be upset. A little too busy watching him, and feeling his familiar touch made unfamiliar through the fabric.

"You know how this goes," she rasped, quietly. "I decide what you feel. See. Taste. Everything."

"And I will ask before I do anything," Lucifer promised, quiet. His fingers went skimming around her skin, searching for the next clasp-- there, on the other side.

Each clasp closed with a noise that sounded-- oddly satisfying to his ears.

"Good," Octavia said.

If that sounded a little distracted... Well, she was watching him be compliant and quiet, on his knees, and that did things to -- several parts of her, honestly.

Good. That was the idea.

He found the last clasp by her leg. He took his time, being careful as he closed it. Pulled on the strap.

"Good?" he asked softly.

"Good," Octavia replied. Her hand brushed over his forehead, into his hair, saying the same thing.

Then her fingers brushed their way down again, under his jaw, to tilt his face up towards her.

"You can open your eyes now."

Lucifer's eyes fluttered open slowly, his gaze in-- whatever direction she had just tilted it to be.

Her face, then.

He sucked in an audible breath.

Around her face, Octavia's hair had fallen whichever way it had wanted to when she'd changed clothes.

And below her face, yes, she was wearing the bodysuit. And on top of it, up top, the harness that went across the top of her chest and down her arms, all fixed into place like the straps around her legs were now, too.

Holding her in, holding her together.

And she was watching his face.

"Oh," Lucifer said, without realizing it.

He swallowed.

She was incredible. (Every way he'd pictured it, and then some.)

That much was obvious.

But Octavia asked anyway, low and raspy:

"Do you like what you see?"

"Yes," Lucifer breathed. "Yes."

"Good," Octavia said once more.

And then stepped back again, her hand leaving his chin.

"Now get up."

Lucifer pushed down a sudden, unbidden mental image of her in that whole get-up riding him - it was difficult - as he rose to his feet.

Whatever she might have felt downstairs, it was now showing in his trousers. Oh well.
