Duke heaved a sigh. “I have no freaking clue. Probably? I could . . . use my teeth or something. Or this fucking horn, somehow.”

Octavia was back, but she'd left, things were apparently bad, and Lucifer was already unconsciously trying to mitigate the amount of useless he was going to feel about it.

"... No, but I could buy some," Lucifer said, squinting a bit. "Unless you'd rather have an egg sandwich or something. I don't know what-- speaking hoove-creatures eat."

And now he was channeling a pissed off Nina.

He was completely on top of everything to do with all this.

He was completely out of his depth.
