Isla San Pedro, Chile, Thursday Evening

As always, the weather in Isla San Pedro improved markedly when the trio arrived, not too long before sunset. Lucifer didn't notice the change, happy as he was to return here. Especially with Duke's recent state of mind, a place to rest with few to no responsibilities seemed--

Well, perfect.

Shortly after arrival, he made good on his promise to Octavia: he set up a little campfire on the beach, brought out some pillows for everyone to sit on, and fish and vegetables to roast over the fire.

"I also brought some Turkish tea for us to heat up," he announced, flopping down on a pillow whilst brandishing a box.

"There ought to be plenty around the island to find," Lucifer said, mouth curving. "Shiny things, all around."

"Including my beautiful butt, after I go swimming," Duke said with a wide grin.

Octavia managed a soft snort. "Oh, I don't think we can put that on a shrine," she rasped. "But we can worship it..."

"Oh, I don't know," Lucifer said, grinning. "A shrine might be perfectly helpful for some truly hands-on worship."

Duke made a soft noise and adjusted his seat on his pillow a little.

"Yes. We should definitely do that."

Octavia snickered softly. "Immediately making good on being easy," she teased. "Looking to get double-teamed?"

"Or double-reamed."

Lucifer.

"Basically always," Duke declared.

(It wasn't as true as it used to be, but hey, they were here to have fun and relax, weren't they?)

Octavia wasn't going to question him on that.

Just turned her head and pressed kind of a bitey little kiss against the line of his jaw. For fun.

They were. For as long as Duke felt it was something that helped.

"Well, you'll have to eat your dinner first," Lucifer teased. "Get your strength up. Give Octavia and myself some time to plot against you."

"Scheme," Duke corrected, humming into the kiss and making a little bitey motion back at Octavia before checked his fish. "I'll try to be patient. I promise."

Octavia smiled at him. "Good, we believe in you." A pause. "And our scheming."
