Lucifer had still not ascended to the heavenly Throne. Oddly enough, there was always just one more thing. Usually a case, like the death of that poor drag queen, or Amenadiel's struggles accepting the reality of the LAPD, or-- well, just things, in general.
One would think that the state of Lucifer this evening - sitting down, sipping whiskey, looking out the window - would have been a regular thing for him, but frankly, it hadn't quite been. All that frantic running about. Solving cases, running night clubs, consoling siblings... In fact, he'd only sat down about five minutes ago, and he was only bothering to take off his Louboutins right now, as an afterthought.
Ah, well.
"I should buy more Häagen-Dazs," he mused to the room at large. "I didn't even realize we were out."
