Lucifer's Mansion, Sunday Night

There were plans to open the club - finally - and plans to go to Austria for a few days to see an opera - exciting - and Octavia had been doing better recently, so... Lucifer was in a good mood, actually, when Sunday came around.

So yes, the candles were out again tonight. And a rather imposing spread of seafood, picked up from the mainland. With mango rice, of course.

It was Octavia. Couldn't do without the mango rice.

"How do you feel about the snapper?"

Was there a faster way to drop her into a mood than his voice right by her ear? Right now, Octavia would have claimed there couldn't be.

She let out another little gasp at the squeeze. Soft, quiet, but uncontrollable.

"I think you've spent too much time enjoying a free view," Lucifer murmured. His fingers slid between her legs. "I think it's time you make some noise for me."

He couldn't fully reach her skin this way, not truly. But his fingers, rubbing against the fabric below her crotch, were-- there to make a statement.

The two layers of fabric between them were not the thickest Octavia could have opted for. Was that on purpose? Who could say.

"You'll have to make me," she breathed. As if her breath hadn't hitched when she'd felt his hand move.

"Oh," Lucifer said, and his chin brushed against her shoulder. "I will."

Nevermind fingers. He slid the palm of his hand between her legs, open-- and squeezed.

Oh. Okay. With a jolt, Octavia hissed a curse in Trig. Part surprise, part a blungt sort of simulation, part -- how possessive a gesture that somehow seemed to her.

He had her attention.

"That's my girl," Lucifer growled.

It sounded possessive.

"We'll see if you earn the right to use that mouth again tonight."

Octavia didn't ever tend to feel particularly weak in the knees, but this may well have qualified.

Something in her possessed her to give a curt nod. "Right," she breathed.

Lucifer leaned in a little further. "I'm going to let you go," he murmured. "And then you're going to get on the bed with your arse up, do you understand?"

Octavia inhaled slowly, as if the breath was supposed to steady her, slow her heart down a little again. It did not.

Another nod.

"Sha."

"Good."

Lucifer let her go abruptly. Stepped away.

It entirely felt like being suddenly deprived of something, and Octavia took a breath or two to collect herself. Then, without looking back, she swayed away from the wall, and headed into the room.

To the bed.

Climbed onto it, almost grateful to not be on her feet anymore. Hesitated for a second before getting on all fours.

And then another - the length of remembering how his do you understand? had sounded - before her upper body sank to the mattress, as best it could. The subtle burn of shame was immediate, much like the crashing wave of the last time she'd submitted into this position.

Both sent heat pooling in the pit of her stomach.

"Good," he said again.

She wasn't alone for long. Soon, the mattress dipped as Lucifer settled right behind, straddling her legs.

He placed his hands on her back. "Pretty," he said, sliding his hands slowly downward towards her shoulders.

Octavia shivered. Her sweater wasn't even that thin, but she couldn't help it.

She would've probably had the same reaction had he just barely touched her with his fingertips.

And eventually, his fingertips was what she got, trailing over the back of her neck. "Do you think it'll hurt worse, or less, if I spank you with these trousers on?" Lucifer wondered.

Octavia couldn't tell which part made her feel more unsteady, the touch or the words.

Threat? Promise?

"Depends how hard you hit," she croaked, voice a little strained all of a sudden.

"Fair enough," Lucifer said, and his fingers slid back, silky-slow. "Shall we find out?"

"Seems like your choice."

It was one way to say she wouldn't veto it.

"Do I deserve it?"

"Yes," Lucifer said. Almost a hiss. "You most certainly do."

(She'd earned it.)

His hands settled over her arse. He looked up at her dark hair, the line of her back, and gave one... experimental... swat.

Octavia tensed a little, with a muted inhale.

It... definitely felt a little different, through the fabric.

"You know why, don't you?" Lucifer murmured.

The second was harder. More confident.

Octavia felt it more, too. And so the gasp was a little more obvious, as well.

"N-no."

That felt like a lie, because the specifics didn't really matter. She deserved punishment, forever.

"Well," Lucifer said, tilting his head. "Then this one's for lying."

He brought his hand down firmly on the same cheek. Trying to get a bit of a bruise going, even if there were layers of cloth between them.

Octavia's flinch suggested he may have been on to something. The impact seemed to reverberate down her thigh, but also right to her core.

Her teeth found her bottom lip to bite on.

"Try again," Lucifer said.

Another swat. As... inspiration.
