Lucifer's Mansion, Sunday Night

It had certainly been a complicated week, hadn't it? Luckily, it had ended before the weekend, and Lucifer, Duke and Octavia had had all Saturday to recover.

That didn't mean Lucifer hadn't been slightly surprised that Octavia was still game for date night. But he had grasped it with every bit of enthusiasm he could foster. And yes, that did mean dinner had featured a genuinely ridiculous amount of tropical fruit.

"Suppose I should've put a protein in there," he mused, settling back and eyeing his empty dessert bowl with satisfaction.

Lucifer laughed softly. "Should I keep listing kinks?"

"Well, it's putting me in a good mood," Octavia drawled, tilting her head back a little to look at him. "But if you wanna change things up, feel free to tell me all about how you'd fuck me with something that feels like one of those popsicle things."

Lucifer chuckled. "You joke, but temperature can really do a number on sensation," he said. "If... applied under the correct circumstances, in the correct places..."

Octavia gave a soft sigh of her own, settling back into her original position against his shoulder.

"That doesn't sound as exciting."

"Because it s-- oh no," Lucifer said, raising his finger. "No, I'm not getting drawn into that again. No more arguing from... now until at least thirty minutes from now."

Octavia gave a little huff. "You'll just refuse any bait for dirty talk now, huh?"

"No, I am promising to take any bait for dirty talk seriously from here on in," Lucifer told her.

"Uh huh," Octavia drawled, with a hint of exaggeration.

Look, this was what happened when you improved her mood, Lucifer: the brat came out.

"No, really, try me," Lucifer said. "Bait ahead."

"I don't know if I'm interested anymore," Octavia decided. Well, 'decided'. "The last attempt went so poorly I don't know if you have what it takes anymore."

Octavia would have batted her eyelashes at him, had she found in herself the inclination to actually tilt her head enough for him to see it.

She could convey the same with her tone just fine.

"Saying it doesn't make it true," she said, sweetly.

"I promise you," Lucifer said, "I could dirty talk you into multiple orgasms." His hand slid away, to... her leg, right under the fabric. "Though... obviously something long and thick wouldn't hurt to help that along."

"You know what would shut me up?" Octavia drawled, tilting her head back a bit more, for a glance up at him. "Hearing some proof."

"Or perhaps I'll just pop my cock in your mouth," Lucifer said. He brought his hand up to settle against her jaw. "It's soft at the moment. I believe you owe me a fix for that."
