Lucifer's Mansion, Sunday Night

It had certainly been a complicated week, hadn't it? Luckily, it had ended before the weekend, and Lucifer, Duke and Octavia had had all Saturday to recover.

That didn't mean Lucifer hadn't been slightly surprised that Octavia was still game for date night. But he had grasped it with every bit of enthusiasm he could foster. And yes, that did mean dinner had featured a genuinely ridiculous amount of tropical fruit.

"Suppose I should've put a protein in there," he mused, settling back and eyeing his empty dessert bowl with satisfaction.

"The danger of choking?" Lucifer murmured. "Hm..."

"Possibly the danger of my neck being snapped like a twig," Octavia rasped. "I mean, not that I've analyzed it. I've just... thought about it. When there's been a hand near my throat."

Including her own, funnily enough.

"Hm. Interesting," Lucifer said. He knocked his head gently against hers. "Just a hand on your throat, then?"

"For now, at least," Octavia said, nodding. "Feels like something we shouldn't risk too much."

"No, that seems fair," Lucifer mused. "Well. Other things. We both know you enjoy spanking..."

Octavia gave a faint snort. "With a hand, or a paddle, or probably other things too."

Lucifer chuckled. "Perhaps we should go to 'Dites and see what else they have in that department."

"Perhaps we should," Octavia rasped. "Or that place on the mainland. Or both."

"Whichever you wish," Lucifer said, mouth curving. "There's also playing with temperatures... ice cubes or hot wax, that sort of thing."

Octavia raised her eyebrows a little. "Now there's something we haven't tried before."

"We could try, if you were interested," Lucifer said.

[okteiviakom]

"Think that sounds like it could work with toys, too." So... probably interested, yes. "Especially the cold..."

"We could put some in the freezer before we get naked?" Lucifer suggested.

"Mmm."

That was as good an answer as he was likely to get. That and the nuzzling.

Lucifer laughed softly. "Should I keep listing kinks?"

"Well, it's putting me in a good mood," Octavia drawled, tilting her head back a little to look at him. "But if you wanna change things up, feel free to tell me all about how you'd fuck me with something that feels like one of those popsicle things."

Lucifer chuckled. "You joke, but temperature can really do a number on sensation," he said. "If... applied under the correct circumstances, in the correct places..."

Snort. "When was I joking?"

"It sounded like a joke," Lucifer sighed. "Either way, I'm not sure fucking you with it would be the proper form. Perhaps... just a tease along your thighs. Letting you feel it."

Octavia gave a soft sigh of her own, settling back into her original position against his shoulder.

"That doesn't sound as exciting."

"You'd want me to put a cold sex toy in you?" Lucifer asked.

"Well, maybe a cold one rather than a freezing one," Octavia allowed.

"Far be it from me to argue," Lucifer mused, grinning.

"I tried to get you to talk dirty to me," Octavia rasped, if fondly, "and you immediately started to argue with me because you thought it was a joke."

[my_own_advocate]

"Because it s-- oh no," Lucifer said, raising his finger. "No, I'm not getting drawn into that again. No more arguing from... now until at least thirty minutes from now."
