Seivarden's wardrobe was a disgrace, frankly. Not because it was terrible, mind you, but because she clearly needed an upgrade, and Lucifer was in a giving mood.
(Lucifer was five minutes from wandering into the local police station to offer his services. This was probably a better outlet for the nagging desire to be kind and useful to something or someone.)
They arrived by portal midway into the morning, stepping out into the Manhattan streets. It was cold, but not debilitatingly so, with a sprinkle of snow coming down from the heavens. The kind of moment an angel... ... could really miss Los Angeles, actually.
[[ for that Radchaai, and with some ocd ]]

"Yes," she said, taking a step back, eyes narrowed. "But if we find out Lucifer is involved--"
"Then I'm sure we'll be able to find Lucy again," Amenadiel said gently. "C'mon."
He pulled on her arm. She went with.

"Is everyone on your family like that?" she asked as she watched them leave.
And: "They call you Lucy?"
And, turning her head to look at him: "Is that what your wings look like?"

Re: An Interruption
Date: 18 Jan 2020 15:57 (UTC)She really didn't want to end this trip, but if a niece needed rescuing from a crazy aunt that was more important.
Despite not being very perceptive, it was still obvious from the look on Lucifer's face that it was important.

"No," he said. "Amenadiel will deal with this, and the mother is leaving town as fast as she possibly can."
His mouth flashed a tired grin in Seivarden's direction. "Sorry about all the family drama, darling."
